ARCHIVE

Forward

I have created this website as a personal archive, but also to demonstrate some of the technology I have been developing. This site and all the development work has been a bit of a side quest from the day job.

I have loved the concept of LiDAR scanning to create digital twins, and the crossover between virtual and physical space — so the use of a LiDAR scanner has been amazing; see the Virtual Tour page. Here's where it gets a bit geeky: the 3D Scans page is a video of some software I am working on. The software imports scan information, creates a model, then allows you to slice that model and export the slice as a clean 2D DXF file that can be dropped straight into CAD (end geek :-)).

The Archive (probably a bit boring) is extensive and unedited and along with the surveying and drawing work reflective of the times (Covid), but I would recommend checking out the photos of when the air-tight membrane was installed, ECO & Passive House Works, when the whole house was red.

JoE
A complete photographic & technical record of a deep retrofit — passive house airtightness, MVHR, air source heat pump, EPDM rubber roof, SIP panels and solar PV. Survey to completion.
